Things are going smoothly and with nearly every seat taken, we at TEDxFlourCity are very excited. The Devil is in the details now as we recruit volunteers, solidify our supplies and become well acquainted with our space in Kilbourn Hall.

The Eastman School held its first Jazz Café event of the year last Friday on February 14th, Valentine’s Day, at the Miller Center. On the wintery evening the event gave the feel of a warm, summer Jazz Festival performance. The Eastman School will put on two more Jazz cafés. TedxFlourCity will be at both and if you attend and mention us, some of the proceeds will benefit our organization. TEDxFlourCitySalon Kickoff: Recap--In case you missed it!

The TEDxFlourCitySalon Kickoff (held on January 22nd at The Daily Refresher) launched a successful start to the year and an exciting preview to the upcoming main event this June. Over 60 guests turned out, among them local students, professors, scientists, business owners and of course our featured speakers: Emily Wozniak, Jason Barrett and Nancy Allinger.
