Elizabeth Schirmer Shores
You don't need a medical degree to operate sustainable technologies that save lives. Elizabeth will demonstrate how to impact 2,000 by putting 90 minutes or less aside while traveling.
Elizabeth Shores equips entrepreneurs with rewarding business platforms that leverage their unique talents and experiences to change the world. These simple wealth and wellness blueprints are used to generate Conscious Cash™ and design their new venture legacies.
She is the CEO and Co-founder of Untapped Shores International, a 501(C)(3) not-for- profit organization that equips travelers’ luggage with hand-held, life-saving technologies so they can Give Back as They Go™. Travelers achieve this by delivering the equipment to enterprising women and children in their travel destinations, who then use the sustainable income from the technologies to work their way out of poverty long after the traveler returns back home.
Elizabeth also leads Sweetwater Energy’s global sales and services division as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, overseeing the planning and executive of market intelligence and product development programs. She received her M.B.A. at the University of Rochester, with a concentration in Entrepreneurship as well as Sustainability Management Strategy with the School of Public Health extension graduate studies program at Harvard University. She also studied economics at East China Normal University in Shanghai, and earned her International Business from Villanova University.
Elizabeth is the recipient of the RBJ 40 Under 40 Award, which recognizes exceptional community impact and professional leadership. She is on the Board of Directors for the Women’s Council, is a Compeer Sister Mentor, and a RYT-200 certified yoga instructor. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband training for destination triathlon races around the world and catching Keuka Lake sunsets with friends and family.
