Why is doctor-patient healthcare limited to the office? Chris, a psychologist, realized her patients rarely have symptoms in her office and rarely recall specific symptom triggers accurately. This prompted her to develop an app to guide her patients through episodes and improve in-office care.
Christine Steerman is a clinical psychologist specializing in family therapy. She currently works at Grey & Steerman Psychological Services private practice and has worked in the the Rochester area since 1981. More recently, Christine has developed an internet-based application for health care workers to improve service to their patients and meet upcoming changes in the field. She has been a disaster mental health volunteer at the American Red Cross since 1999 and presented locally and nationally on a number of topics including disaster volunteering internationally. When not practicing, Christine is a practitioner of Aikido Kokikai and developed a conflict resolution program for children using its principles. She is a proud parent of two and grandparent of three.
