If you’ve ever wanted to understand what causes heart disease or how it can be prevented, Dr. Irfan Khan of the Buffalo Heart Group is the person to talk to. Sudden Cardiac Arrest, or Sudden Death syndrome, is his main focus, and a major objective of his practice is to spread awareness, increase understanding, and spur preventative action in those at risk, or who know someone at risk, from succumbing to it.

This blogger apologizes for the long hiatus from posting. The Fall brought changes and a few curveballs, as life sometimes does. But fear not, you have NOT been abandoned.
Like the Winter wind as it rushes in, it’s time to blow the Fall dust off of the blog and bring you the inside scoop and speaker commentary on the remaining TEDxFlourCity2014 talks.
We hope you have had a great week so far! We had a fun start to the week on Monday September 15 when we hosted our first salon of our salon series this season at Joe Bean! Despite the Festival of Food and other exciting events capturing the attention of our busy city we packed a full house—standing room only spaces included! Stay tuned to the blog later this month for a recap of our “Power of Public Spaces” salon.
This week we highlight another outstanding performance from TEDxFlourCity2014.
